Old Souls, Old Doors...

The other day, I went to the city for printing. After sitting in an auto for what seemed like a whole day, and running from one place to the other holding three standees and my bag (which contains every thing a human brain can think of), I finally got a break for about half an hour before I got the material back. So I decided to explore the area, clicking random pictures of old doors.

Old doors fascinate me to no end. The way they are structured, the colour, the chipped paint, the broken pieces of wood, the whole sight is just so interesting. Plus, if you stand and stare at one for a while (make sure you don't end up scaring the people who live behind it), it seems like it has a story to tell; which is what I love most about it.

Here are a few of the many, many shots I took.

Let it be noted that a) I am not a photographer, even an amateur one...b) My camera is the most basic digital kind you can find.

The first shot. And so the obsession began!

Notice the colour combinations. I'm sure this would be one of the only situations they would look good :)

My favourite door in the bunch.

All in all, it was a lot of fun. :)
