Weekly wondering
It's been about a month and I have successfully followed my no denim rule. Many times I found myself considering the simple t-shirt and jeans, but I was prompt to remind myself how much more comfortable cotton and other such material can be. And till now, I have no complaints. I also recently found an old Titanic watch of mine, and even though the print on the straps has faded a bit, I love it!
On a separate topic, I wonder why our concept of beauty has changed over the years. I look at actresses from the past, both Indian and abroad, and they weren't the skinniest of the lot. But they were beautiful, because they were confident and healthy. Travel back to the present, and even though there are some who still hold on to the charm of the past, many don't. Which is quite sad. This particular series of thoughts came to me because this week has been all about food. And no matter how delectable the food was and how much fun each outing had been; I found myself feeling totally guilty when I got home. Then I wondered why I would want to diminish the joy I got out of those meals. Yes, lots of wondering. But that's a weekly occurence.
In other news, just today, I purchased my very own graphic tablet! I'm not too efficient in using it yet, but with practice I hope to do the bare minimum soon. And then we'll see where we go from there. It's almost the end of the week, and I hope it's been a good one for you all. It has certainly been one for me!
I love the skirt. It's such a pretty print!
