Clichès are all around us. They've sprouted up from all over the place, trying to summarize our lives in catchy sentences. Think of any situation life throws at you, and more often than not, there's a cliché quote relevant to it. Had a bad day? Well, 'what goes down must come up'. Lost the game? Don't fret, 'every cloud has a silver lining'. Some are inspiring, some give direction, and some are just plain strange.
I don't know how I thought of the topic of clichè quotes, but it did, as I walked to the library today. And I'm glad, because it gave me a fun thing to illustrate. I plan to discipline myself and make more illustrations on this topic. You guys will know how it goes, of course.
