Must love dogs
When I was four, my parents adopted a little labrador puppy. We named her 'Sheba', which had sort of become the family pet name. She was a part of our family, and the day she left us was one of the worst days of my life. But my childhood would have been incomplete without her, and I got to spend thirteen years with her, and that's all that matters.
Story aside, I've always loved dogs, especially big breeds. I have a soft spot for labradors of course, but who can blame me, they're such happy creatures! So the other day, I was trying to work, and suddenly felt like making some cute dog illustrations (random, as usual). I think I now realize why I still have so much work to do!
I haven't printed the piece yet (just placed it in Photoshop to see what it'd look like on one of our walls) but that's what Mondays are for.

Epic moment: Oprah sees this and commissions you to do one of her dogs and you become world famous as the dog portrait whisperer and you right a book and among o=your dedications I read: "To Nomali, who called it first." Ha! :-)
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I love this! If it actually happens, I promise you I will write that exact line in my book. :D
