Sign like you mean it

I've always wanted to learn sign language (which is why it's on my 25 before 25 list) and the other day I thought, 'Hey, I have all the resources just a mouse click away! Why am I not taking advantage of that?' So I did, and found a website teaching sign language basics. I'll eventually need proper classes, also so that I can practice what I learn with other people. But for now, it's interesting to see what gestures are used to communicate basic words and feelings.

Here I share a few that I learnt (boy, I really should get some work done!). We don't realize how often we use our expressions and hands to communicate while speaking. However, it's a whole other experience when you remove speech from the mixture. What remains seems pretty amazing to me. Let's just hope I stick to my plan of learning it all.
