25 before 25
Here's the list of things I'd like to do before turning the big two-five:
1. Get another tattoo
Crossed this off a week after my birthday! My best friend and I got matching infinity tattoos, and I'm so glad because now any time I feel low, I have a reminder of the good things in life.
2. Write a short story
3. Design and launch portfolio website
Finally, after months of back and forth. Here's my portfolio site!
4. Color hair
I colored my hair red only to find that the color didn't hold. If leaked off every time I washed my hair! And bleach is a definite no. So yeah, I did it.
*Update* I finally did it! After months, no, years of trying and failing, I got one right. My hair is now effectively dip dyed red.
5. Read 25 books
Here's the list of the books I've read since my last birthday.
6. Learn sign language
I tried, but can't cross it off the list just yet.
7. Travel around the city on a cycle
8. Make 10 *good* prints
Nine prints on Etsy (woohoo!), and one made for christmas postcards (with the prospect of similar ones in the future), makes ten!
9. Go trekking
My friend at Amherst reminded me that we went trekking when I visited her there! So, yeah, it can be crossed off. Awesome!
10. Start my own brand
Curly Gets Creative is born. I want to take it a little further before officially crossing this one off the list.
*Update* Curly Gets Creative found a place on Etsy. Finally!
11. Get a fohawk (yeah!)
12. Go kayaking
13. Swim with dolphins
FINALLY! After years of wanting to, I finally got to swim with these intelligent and lovable creatures while visiting Cancun, Mexico.
14. Work at an animal shelter
15. Visit a meditation ashram
16. Sing in public
Does singing in a karaoke bar count? I think it does. Unfortunately I didn't get anyone to click a picture.
17. Run all the way around Central Park
Done. After training for a half marathon for some months, this one didn't seem too difficult. It was a perfect route to take.
18. Design (and print) visiting cards
19. Visit 5 new places
Cancun, Mexico | Amherst, MA |
20. Learn a foreign language
21. Run a half marathon
So totally done!
22. Try guerrilla design
Well, it's time for me to generalize. So, I assume that this fulfills the criteria, since it was displayed in a public space (coffee shop), and advertised my blog.
23. Visit London
24. Take acting classes
25. Map out and illustrate Indian cities
