Back And White

Well hello there, strangers. I know I've been missing in action for what seems like a decade (or did it just feel like that to me?), but I hope I wasn't forgotten. I certainly didn't forget this blog, that has been a part of my life for some years now. It's just that in the recent past I've been figuring out a new life in a new city (Bombay). I've been lucky to have my best friends close by, who've been a constant support. Never once have I felt lonely in this city that prides itself for its indifference towards the new, and old. Even though they didn't quite like the idea of me moving away, my family has been very supportive. So in short, I've had nothing to complain about.

Now, I feel I've reached the point where I can return to this blog. After some quiet contemplation, I've realised that I need this blog more than it needs me. Why, you ask? Because, it gets me out of routine life, and in a dialogue with the world. What other reason does one need? If you're visiting this blog after a while, you'll notice it's new, white, minimalistic look. Well, I mean for it to be this way. In my world of doodles and design, I felt I needed something simple and straightforward. I'll probably change it in a while, but for now, I'm quite pleased with it.

I have a few things to tell you all, on what I've been up to. And I will. But for now, I'm working on my 27 before 27 list. It's about time, if you ask me. I barely get half of them crossed off by the end of the year, so every day I waste procrastinating is a day that could be spent doing things off the list! I was blank for a while, and after about a month after my birthday, I have 20 things listed down (you can see them here). There's also a tab on the top navigation that will take you to the list, so you can see my progress over the months (and shame me if I haven't gotten much done!).
