Napkin doodles
Cafes are one of the best places to spend some time. You can do your own thing; read, write or work on your project. At the same time, you're surrounded by people, so you don't feel the dread of sitting alone at home. I was sitting at a cafe today thinking about this, and other things that put me in a good mood. Luckily for me, I had a brown paper napkin and my markers in hand!
If you can't read the list properly, here are 5 things you can do to have a better day:
1. Visit your local cafe, for a cuppa joe. Like I did.
2. Watch your favorite movie. Hopefully it's not a drama.
3. Read a book. Come on, do it!
4. Walk around the neighborhood. Or farther still.
5. Listen to some happy songs. And sing along of course.
When I was done with the list on the napkin, I thought, 'Won't it be nice if someone were to find this randomly placed on their table when they came in?' So before I left, I did just that. I placed the napkin on a random table. Hopefully, someone will find it and it'll make him or her smile.
**I made some mistakes in the text. If you can spot them, good for you. If not, good for me.**

This is nice! Had I been the person to find it I would have kept it for myself and then gone to the web address in a non-creepy way.
ReplyDeleteHmm. Now to find the mistake...
I love this, these kinds of small happy things are so true and can really perk you up. love the way youve written it too :)

Haha I'm hoping someone does that, Nomali! Keeps the napkin that is, not finds the mistakes. :D
