What's happening?

If you've been wondering what's been keeping me busy these days, I don't blame you. I have moments where I go completely blank and wonder what all it was I had to do. Then, the realization of the tasks ahead hits me and I get butterflies in my stomach. But I'm being dramatic, and challenges are fun, so I thought I'd share some of my work with you all!

I've been sketching a lot these days. The goal (and one of the items in the 25 before 25 list) is to make 10 good prints. These will go in my portfolio, and I hope people will want to buy them and put them up in their homes. It's been my dream for a while to have my own brand, where I can make prints that people will like to own. I recently realized that now's a good time to get started on it. So that's one of the things I'm doing. The dog you see up there is Brinkley, and the dark splotches on his face need to be edited on Photoshop, my work savior.

I'd hate this work to keep me from getting out there and meeting new people (which seems to be the case these days), which is why this evening I plan to join nine creative people as they sit, work on their project, snack and chat. It sounds good mixture of socializing and work. Should be fun!
